This episode is without a doubt one of the funniest and most quotable not only in Season 1, but in the entire series! Louis decides to make a short film titled "Three Eyes Wide Shut." If this movie actually existed, it would likely be in competition with Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" for best worst movie of all time. Listen as we laugh at the wonderful chaotic energy this episode exudes, discuss middle school crushes, and quote the episode waaaaay too much. Louis really wants a slushie machine for his room, so he opens a "Doggy Day Care" to earn enough money to buy one! We're on pretty neutral ground here. This episode has its moments, but suffers from 5 too many montages. Our Tweets segment is proof that the one thing everyone seems to remember from it is Louis' "Churro machine" at the very end. Listen as we call 555 phone numbers seen on the show and laugh at stuff like the absurdity of Ren running a teen job center from her room and Louis posting a cheesy flier of him hugging a random german shepherd.

Welp, we're posting this 15 days after Hanukkah... but, it'll have to do!!! This is the probably closest we'll ever get to covering a holiday episode on or near the actual holiday, haha. Hope you all had a nice break!
This episode is an absolute classic. Louis sorta-kinda-not really wishes he was never born, so his great great great great grandmother Bubbe Rose appears and shows him a world without Louis Stevens. This is yet another episode we've both ranked highly! From the interesting "alternate reality," to Louis' chicken comedy special... what's not to love?

This is an extremely special episode: Our very first interview with a member of the Stevens family! We're so excited to share our nearly 2 hour conversation with Tom Virtue, who of course played Steve Stevens on the show! We made sure to work in as many of your questions as we could. So settle in and listen to us talk about everything from his beginnings as an actor, plenty of Even Stevens behind the scenes/filming stories, touching memories, lots and lots of Shia LaBeouf + a whole lot more!
*Please note: Around 1:14:00, we started experiencing some technical difficulties on Tom's end, unbeknownst to all of us! Thankfully we were able to salvage the raw audio from our Skype session to fill in the gaps. So, just know that there will be a shift in audio quality for 18 minutes or so at that point and then again for a small section at the end. The quality of the content is still 10/10 so we hope you can forgive that little hiccup and enjoy the interview!

Ren, Louis and Chloe (a.k.a. one-off character Number... 8? Honestly, we've lost count) break into school at night to complete a display for Lawrence Jr. High's 75th anniversary. That's literally it. Throw in some random hamsters, Jumbo-Size Crinkle Fries, plus a possibly hot laser maze and... you're still somehow left with a pretty bland episode. Neither of us are too thrilled with this one.

THE "HONEY BOY" TRAILER IS FINALLY HERE! Ethan and I spend most of this review in utter disbelief that it's actually a real thing. We never thought we'd see anything remotely close to a Shia LaBeouf biopic that closely examines his Even Stevens years. It's incredible and we CANNOT WAIT to finally see it!
We talk all about the trailer and catch up on some things that have happened while we've been away, such as Christy's Kitchen Throwback and Shia's new projects + interviews, among other things!
It's good to be back. *Note: This episode was recorded a while ago, before Ty Hodges was a guest on Christy's show! Obviously, we would've discussed that Ren/Larry content!!! haha. So, looks like we have some stuff saved for another day...
