In this episode we meet the second one-off character in the series -- Ren's conniving snake of a pre-high school mentor, June Marie. Ren is beyond excited to have June's help and thinks super highly of her, too bad June Marie has slimy ulterior motives. Meanwhile, Louis suspects someone stole one of his VHS tapes of a Saturday Night Live episode and installs a home surveillance system hoping to catch the thief. Thankfully, Louis' security cameras end up exposing June Marie's true colors. This episode marks the first appearance of the fabulous Tom Gribalski and the last appearance of Ren's placeholder friend Jewel.
We debut another new segment: "Mom's Thoughts with Jeannie Butler!" Where my mother chimes in with her thoughts on the episode. We also read the most detailed and specific Listener Letter ever. ALSO, I went as Louis Stevens for Halloween.

In our first major ranking gap, we discuss what most people probably remember as "The Talent Show Episode" or more affectionately, "The Mosey/Don't Mosey Episode." I have this one ranked at No. 14, whereas Ethan has it in his lower tier at No. 50! Through all of the plot holes that make no sense whatsoever, utter ridiculousness and one of Larry Beale's most malevolent moments, Louis The Aspiring Comedian and the heartwarming bond between brother and sister might be juuuust enough to save this one.

In our very first cast & crew interview, we sit down with series creator Matt Dearborn! We talk about everything from Matt's beginnings as a writer, the Even Stevens audition process, where the heck Beans came from and so much more! This interview was enlightening in many ways. Turns out the three of us are co-presidents of the Shia LaBeouf fan club! The coolest part? Ethan and I got to pitch some of our reboot ideas! No questions on our list went unasked, and our appreciation for the show runs even deeper now. Huge thank you to Matt for taking the time to talk to us! The second episode of the series, which is actually the first episode, really starts to pick things up in the character development department. Louis makes the track team -- not because of his skill, but because of Larry Beale and his dirty rotten master plan to embarrass him and begin the Larry Beale Dynasty. Ren looks out for her little bro the whole time and Louis has a gold-star worthy, selfless moment of heroicness. This is a good one. We debut even MORE ~fun segments~ like Would You Rather and (my personal favorite) The Wombat News -- where we make a MASSIVE AND EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! If you're a huge fan of the show, you do not want to miss this!

In our first episode discussion, we talk about the "pilot episode" ...which isn't even the actual pilot episode and doesn't exactly function like one either. Louis trades School Nerd Ernie Morton a date with Ren in exchange for a knock-off Pokémon card. This podcast ep debuts ~fun~ segments like Boy Meets World-nection, Trivia, Tweets and Best Quotes! Moral of the story: Ernie "I Never Picked A Booger I Didn't Like" Morton is nasty.
